Gorky Central Park
Another business card of the city, as this park is unique and one of the largest open-air entertainment centers on the European continent. At the same time the Gorky Park was divided into thematic zones (children's park, extreme park and family entertainment zone) for the convenience of visitors. Constitution Square
The history of this central square of the city is hundreds of years, and its beginning is 1659. It is worth noting that in 2012, a monument called Flying Ukraine was erected instead of the Soviet power monument. Sculptors from Kharkiv, Alexander Ridny and Anna Ivanova, became the authors of the sketch project. Sarzhin Yar
This place is a natural monument of local importance that is located not far from Kharkiv's central part. The length of Sarzhin Yar is over 12 kilometers. The main "trump card" of this place is the source of the cleanest drinking water in the city, which Kharkiv citizens and guests gather in mass. In addition, there is a font in which believers bathe during the Epiphany, as well as wonderful children's and sports grounds.
Cathedral of the Annunciation
The cathedral is not only the oldest Kharkiv temple, but also the largest cathedral of those located in the eastern part of the European continent. The beginning of its history dates back to the XVII century, but in its usual form it was built and consecrated in 1901. Mikhail Lovtsov became its architect. He really fascinates with his grandeur and beauty, and can accommodate up to four thousand people.
